Automatic
Bad Vibrations is delighted to welcome LA based post-punk trio Automatic back to London on 15th February 2020.
Their debut album, Signal, was released in October and widely praised, being described by Pitchfork as 'minimalists crafting songs with mostly throbbing bass, tight-zipped drumbeats, and synths that evoke the buzz of neon lighting'. With music that draws inspiration from bands like Suicide, Bauhaus (whose reunion shows they opened for), New Order, Kleenex, and Neu, and a visually charged live show, Automatic are ones to watch for 2020.
Please do not buy second hand tickets outside of the Dice waiting list or See tickets exchange system. This is to protect you from scam and ensure tickets are legally yours.
"The trio’s debut is an exercise in post-punk and no-wave galvanism crafted from throbbing bass, tight-zipped drumbeats, and buzzing synths."
- Pitchfork
"A wide-ranging sound that touches everything from dub reggae to motorik rhythms to gnarly synth work, all with eerie overtones inspired by filmmakers like David Lynch. It’s a lot to take in, but it’s truly great."
