Fruit Bomb are a 4 piece band whose members live in Manchester and Sheffield. They are awesome. They play fast, catchy and energetic punk music, taking influence from the vast back catalogue of garage bands all searching for that perfect combination of melody, chaos and spirit. Think The Black Lips, Jacuzzi Boys, King Khan and the BBQ with a bit of Ty Segall and The Ramones thrown in. We are happy to announce their brand new single in the form of ‘Goin’ Home’, which is to be released on August 17th through Delicious Clam Records. The physical version of the single will take the form of a hand pulled A4 screen print (download code included) with original artwork from Del Hardin Hoyle. “Goin’ Home”, produced by Calum Keiller (of Fruit Bomb) and Ed Crisp at Delicious Clam Studios in Sheffield, and mastered by Bob Cooper, is a raw, energetic and infectious garage rock song. The track is soaked in distortion and sprinkled with guitar licks that sit above a rolling bass line, channelling the chaos of The Black Lips and the groove of The Rolling Stones. Since forming during the winter of 2014, the band have already caught the attention of the national music press and been recruited as part of Art Is Hard’s Family Portrait 12" alongside Bruising, Abattoir Blues, and Living Hour, and embarked on a UK tour. The band will support the single's release with a show at Bungalows and Bears in Sheffield on September 11th.
