BAD VIBES - first wave of acts announced

London's creative hub of Hackney Wick is coming to the boil.

On March 28th, Bad Vibes is taking over Shapes warehouse from 1pm until late with a lineup that must be our best yet.

Headlining, we bring you Faust. Rising during the legendary German art scene of the early 1970s, their technical prowess and challenging musical intricacy have earned them forty years at the forefront of avant-garde pop.

Martin Rev is the instrumentalist of Suicide, the experimental, confrontational electronic duo that pushed the original New York punk scene to another level. His dynamic solo career has yielded great records and collaborations in a myriad of styles.

We're just as thrilled to have Dead Meadow for Bad Vibes. Since their Washington DC origins in the late 1990s, they have come to epitomise American stoner rock, and straddle the world of modern psych as well.

German musician Harald Grosskopf makes another terrific addition to this year's lineup. The drummer and keyboardist made his name with Krautrockers Wallenstein and Ashra as well as achieving cult fame with his solo electronic music.

Although Useless Eaters are originally from Memphis, they're now based in San Francisco. We can't wait to hear their moody garage-punk sound at Bad Vibes.

Other exciting acts are still to be announced. Early bird tickets are priced at £20. You can get a VIP ticket, with ten drinks and one meal included, for only £50.
